Classifiers

Classification of records is used to systematize a big number of records, assigning them certain categories (classifiers) in order to simplify the work with a large amount of information.

A classifier is a data model object with a hierarchical structure, the elements of which are called nodes (classifier nodes).

Classifier always contains one root node, which is added automatically when creating a new classifier and may have its own set of attributes. Child nodes may be added to the root node.

A classifier can also have multiple versions. If a certain set of attributes becomes obsolete - you may need to create a new version of the classifier with the up-to-date attributes.

Work with Classifiers

Creation of the classifier and its versions and nodes is performed in the «Classifiers" section. There you can also assign the classifier to the necessary entities/reference sets («Assignments" tab).

Nodes of the assigned classifiers become available for viewing and editing in the record card of the selected entity/reference set in the special "Classification" tab.

Classified records are searched in the "Data" section using the special search criteria.
