Editing, Copying & Deleting Attributes

Note

The data needs to be reindexed after changing the data model. Reindexing is required if at least one attribute with the properties "Searchable", "Displayed", "Main displayed", "Unique" has been edited; also if a code (alternative code) attribute has been edited

To edit an attribute:

  1. Make sure that the "Attributes" tab is active.

  2. In the list of attributes, select the desired attribute.

  3. Make the required changes. The Name, Attribute type, and Value type fields will not be available to edit.

  4. Save the changes. Click "Save" in the upper-right corner of the screen. If filling errors are detected during saving, a corresponding message will be displayed on the screen.

To copy an attribute:

  1. Make sure that the "Attributes" tab is active.

  2. Click the image1 "Add attribute" button at the bottom of the attribute list.

  3. From the menu that appears, select "Copy from...".

  4. This will open a pop-up with a list of existing attributes.

  5. Select the required one and click "Continue" in the lower right corner of the window.

  6. Enter a name for the new attribute, make additional changes if necessary, and click "Save" in the upper right corner.

Note

Complex attribute can only be copied entirely with no way to select nested objects
