Cloning Record¶
To clone a record:
Find the desired record using search tools and open it.
Click the
menu button located in the upper right corner of the record card and select "Clone Record".
In the modal window that opens, select the parameters required for cloning:
Clone into draft flag - saves the cloned record to draft (by default it is cloned to permanent storage).
Record Clone Parameters:
Actual range - records, relations, and classifications that overlap in time with the periods of relevance that were specified in the cloning parameters are cloned. If the record, relation, classification does not fall within the specified period, then cloning will not occur.
Clean unique attributes - clears unique/code attribute values.
Relations Clone Parameters (by default displayed for entities and hidden for reference sets):
Clone relations - drop-down list of options: All (include all incoming and outgoing relations of the source record); All incoming (include only incoming relations of the source record); All outgoing (include only outgoing relations of the source record); Select related records (include only selected incoming/outgoing linked records); Select relations (include only selected outgoing/incoming relations).

Classification Clone Parameters displayed if at least 1 classifier is assigned to the entity/reference set (only for Enterprise Edition):
Include classifications - drop-down list of options: All nodes (include all classifier nodes of the source record); Select nodes (include only selected classifier nodes); Select classifiers (copy only the classification of the specified classifiers).
Clean unique attributes - clears values of unique/code attributes.
Click "Clone" after configuring all required parameters.
