"Consolidation" Tab¶
Note
Consolidation is only available for entity records
In the "Consolidation" tab you can configure the rules that are used to consolidate records.
Consolidation is used to select winning records in case of conflicts. For example, during data loading.
To set up consolidation by source systems:
Set the "By sources" flag.
This action opens a list of existing source systems created in the "Source Systems" section.
Set the entity weight for each of the required source systems. The weight reflects the trust level for each source system, and when consolidating conflicting records, records that come from a more trusted source system win. Maximum weight: 100. It's the weight of the "universe" source system.
Save changes, if necessary. Click "Save" in the upper-right corner of the screen. If filling errors are detected during saving, a corresponding message will be displayed on the screen. All changes in the entity will be saved.
To set up consolidation by entity attributes:
Set the "By attributes" checkbox.
As a result, an empty table will be displayed, the columns of which are the existing source systems.
Click the "Add Attribute" button. As a result, a list of attributes of the current entity will be displayed.
Select the required attribute.

Notes:
The following algorithm is used for checking weights during consolidation:
If the weight is overridden for the attribute of the edited entity/reference set – the weight of this attribute is used.
If the attribute was not redefined, a check whether the weights for the source system were redefined is carried out.
If the weight is overridden for the source system, the data from this source system is used.
If the attribute and source system data are not overridden, the default system weights are used.
Source system weights are considered overridden for entity as soon as the checkbox is set and changes are saved, even if the values of the weights were not changed. Changing the weights in the "Source Systems" section does not affect the redefined values.
