User Account Properties

Configuring account and role properties can affect work of users.

Property	Description	Details
Active	Active user feature	If the user is not active, he cannot use the system. This feature can be used to temporarily deactivate an account, e.g., for employees on leave
Login*	User login	Required. One of the required properties. User login is unique and consist of Latin letters and numbers. Allowed format: first character - letter; subsequent characters - letters, numbers, symbols "-", "_", ".". It is not possible to change the login of an existing user
Name* / Last Name*	Name and last name of the user	Required. One of the required properties. Can be changed after initial saving
Middle Name	Middle name of the user	Optional. Can be changed after initial saving
Email*	User e-mail	Required. Standard email address format according to RFC 2822. The "Email notification" checkbox allows you to send notifications to a specified address
Password*	User password	Required. Must be entered twice
External	External user feature	If the user is marked as an external user, then the login data from the external system (third-party login and password from the external system) is used for his work in the Universe MDM system. When the property is enabled, an additional field "Authentication method" appears
Superuser	System administrator feature	Automatically gives the user maximum rights to all objects in the system, regardless of other settings and assigned roles. The user also has the ability to change the system license in a special mode
Roles	List of roles assigned to a specific user	Users can have one or more roles assigned to them. In case of conflicting roles, the access rights are determined by the role with more rights assigned to it
User Information	Other user properties	List of additional user properties. The number of rows and columns are set up separately
